Up for sale is my Dingwall Lee Sklar 5 with Dingwall deluxe gigbag. I bought this bass brand new just 6 weeks ago and it's still in mint condition. The color is Candy Tangerine (gloss) and this is the first Sklar ever made with this color. The "D" logo is also made of abalone pearl and I believe Dingwall can no longer ship basses to the US with abalone in them. This was probably the last bass to be shipped here with that feature. The preamp is a Glockenlang 3 band with Dingwall Super Fatty pickups in Z2 spacing. Pull up on the volume knob for passive mode. Hipshot extender key for the low B to A setup. The B string on this bass is amazing. Super fat and clear as a bell all the way up the neck. Lightweight dual density body (ash/alder) and a wengee board. These basses have a retail price of $5,700 The neck is thin and buttery smooth; and with the mando frets? Get out of here! Playability is amazing to say the least. My price is $3,475 shipped conus. A chopper or a hot rod would go with that too.
