This is the bass I thought I'd keep forever, but I've got bills to pay...and I can always get another Super P/J down the road when I'm a bit more flush!
This is the latest model with the newer pickups, battery compartment etc. I'll have to look at my paperwork to be precise, but it's made in 2007 or 2008 I think, and weight is 8lbs 14oz.
I bought it virtually new--a rich guy who does lots of custom orders with Ed Roman bought it for a friend but ended up not giving it to him. I bought it in new condition and have been very kind to it--a couple rehearsals, a couple gentle church gigs, otherwise at home with me. Has spent nearly its entire life strung with flats.
Definitely the nicest bass I've ever owned, including pre-CBS fenders etc. No issues whatsoever, and gorgeous. I could write pages on why this bass is amazing, but I think there are plenty of testimonials out there for Dingwall already--this bass has it all.
$2500 shipped in the ConUS. OHSC (a nice fender skb-style case) and registration card are included. No interest whatsoever in trades, so please don't offer any. Thanks!

I predicted that the last Super J that was on here would be gone within 24 hrs, and it was sold in 14.
Wish I had the funds for this - it won't last long folks!

When Kittyboy says its pristine, it will be. A good TB'er to buy from.
This bass will make someone very happy.
The Jazz bass refined to perfection!

How would describe the P tone of this bass? I've never had the pleasure of playing or hearing one of these.
Is it a Fenderish P tone, a Sadowskyesque P tone?

Hmmm, it can do the fender thing but can also be a lot more clear and hi-fi if you want it to be...the tonal range is amazing
