This is the bass I thought I'd keep forever, but I've got bills to pay...and I can always get another Super P/J down the road when I'm a bit more flush!
This is the latest model with the newer pickups, battery compartment etc. It was built for the 2008 NAMM show, weight is 8lbs 14oz.
I bought it virtually new--a rich guy who does lots of custom orders with Ed Roman bought it for a friend but ended up not giving it to him. I bought it in new condition and have been very kind to it--a couple rehearsals, a couple gentle church gigs, otherwise at home with me. Has spent nearly its entire life strung with flats.
Definitely the nicest bass I've ever owned, including pre-CBS fenders etc. I could write pages on why this bass is amazing, but I think there are plenty of testimonials out there for Dingwall already--this bass has it all. Bass is very clean with one light scratch on the back between the neck bolts--visible, but you can't feel it, could be buffed out if you were so inclined. $2400 shipped in the ConUS. OHSC (a nice fender skb-style case) and registration card are included.
The only trades I might consider are partial trades for ES-335/clones or G&L Asat tele/tributes, but I'd still be looking for the bulk to be cash. A fractal audio axe-fx could also be trade bait, but those are pretty rare animals... Please don't offer other trades, thanks.
