I need to thin out my bass collection to pay some bills, so first on the block is my DiPinto Belvedere semi-hollowbody bass. I bought this in January from fellow TBer Kazuhank and it has been a regular part of my live bass rotation ever since. I actually played this at a gig the first night I got it!
Unlike most hollow or semi-hollow basses, the Belvedere has a pretty good palate of tones to choose from. With rounds it can growl and honk like a Jazz or do a more mellow P-Bass thing. With flats, it can nail the thumpy 1960's tone. I've kept rounds on it and it has served me well.
The bass has some minor swirling in the finish and a chip or two, but no major wear. It has 2 single coil pickups (with a pretty hot output), 34 inch scale, ebony fretboard, sunburst top, 24 frets and a jazz-width neck (1.5 inches at the nut). There is a 3-way pickup selector and volume and tone knobs.
I have a generic gig bag that I will throw in and it will be boxed with peanuts and bubble wrap for shipping. If you're in or near Seattle, please shoot me a PM and we'll work out a time for you to check it out.
Looking to get what I paid for it --
$325 shipped CONUS. PayPal is OK, but cashier's check, money order or the like is preferred.
Thanks!
