This bass is a beautiful sounding and looking instrument. It records great and surprisingly versatile---providing tremendous foundation when needed and then cutting through if the moment calls for it.
Though I can't get an actual date on it, I remember buying it in the early 90's so I believe it to be made before Guild was bought out. Many luthiers have commented on loving the piece of wood that this was made from...

Also, the wood seems to be Rosewood, though someone mentioned Ebony which it could be, but I would be surprised. |
