5 String Fretless Guild Pilot '94 ($800 or b/0)

This bass is a beautiful sounding and looking instrument. It records great and surprisingly versatile---providing tremendous foundation when needed and then cutting through if the moment calls for it.
Though I can't get an actual date on it, I remember buying it in the early 90's so I believe it to be made before Guild was bought out. Many luthiers have commented on loving the piece of wood that this was made from...
Please PM for more pics or info.

Are there any *fret* position markers on the top and side of the neck. Position markers in-between frets? Or lined up where frets would be? Or both?? Or none? confused yet... lol

There are Fret position markers on the side of the neck. And it seems to be 23 frets...Last marker is on the 21st fret.

Sorry for the late reply too.
I haven't signed in for a few days.
Also, the wood seems to be Rosewood, though someone mentioned Ebony which it could be, but I would be surprised.

Yes it does come with original brown case. Sorry for delayed response. I haven't been on TB in sometime. I'll PM you too.
Also, it has EMG pickups and not sure of the inner electronics

I'm planning on moving in 2 weeks and would love to that without this bass, so I'm really looking to sell it asap. If you have any interest, please PM an offer and maybe we can make it work.
