Early 90s Fender MIJ Fotoflame P bass!!

Here's a real beauty. I got so many compliments when I gigged this with my funk/R&B band, but I'm on a quest to get down to one 4-string and one 5-string.

Pretty much your straight up passive P bass but with a flamed maple top and a flamed maple neck. Rather stunning in person. It's in great condition for being 15-20 years old. The most noticeable blemishes are finish cracks which are quite common and you really can't tell from a few feet away. The neck profile is really nice. Plays and sounds great. Personally one of the best P basses I've ever tried. Beats out many USA P-basses. Pics don't really give the flame top justice.

Asking price is $600.

Width is 1 3/4 inches. Also, will consider a partial trade for an ipad 2, particularly interested in ones that are still covered under warrantee.

Gorgeous! Is that an ash body or alder? More the old school hollow P sound or newer, more aggressive P?

It's more of an old school sound. It has more thump than you'll ever need and it sits in the mix great. I'm just more of a jazz guy. The grain in the body looks like alder but it's very lightweight, so I'm not 100% sure.

I have both a gig bag and a SKB case. Shipping will depend on what the bass ships in.
