Early Peavey Grind

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!!!

This is the much preferrred early MIV (Made in Vietnam) version. The build quality is superb. It plays well and is great for slapping. The neck is thin, sleak and fast. Being a neck through the upper frets are easy access. The setup is medium/low with no fret issues. The trussrod works perfectly. If there's a flaw on this bass I cannot find it. The strings are new, play and sound fine but I'm not exactly sure what they are No case or gigbag but will be shipped bubblewrapped and bombproof
Reduced to $200 Paypal, no trades.

I had one of these in a 5-string version. Very nice bass.

Yes, they are very well made and use damn nice woods. I forgot to post the weight, just a hair over 8 1/2lbs on my digital fishing scale. I honestly thought it would weigh less.

I have one of these, and this is a fantastic deal on a very underrated bass. Somebody buy this.

Is that a factory gloss finish? I had a later model and it was pretty much raw wood.

It's not a gloss finish. It's just shining in the sun in those photos. This bass is 100% stock including the finish.

I my best mafioso voice.........Make me an offer I cannot refuse and.........badda bing, badda BOOM, it's yours

Honestly this thing feels much lighter than it actually weighs on the strap. I would have guessed less than 8lbs.

I never realized that until after it arrived and I started reading up on them. They certainly do a great job building them, especially being a neck thru. My sneakers are made there to

Are they? Seperate topic all together. And there is no South Viet Nam. Just like no East Germany. The "Loser" goes away.

But these ARE Very Sweet Basses! And this is an UNBELIEVEABLE Price!!!
