Eastwood Airline Map Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

PRICE DROP $600

This is a white Airline Map bass. It's only about a month old and in MINT condition. I have it strung with D'addario Chromes, and will include the original rounds as well. Comes with HSC. This really is a great version of this bass. I really enjoy this bass, but need to move it because something came up. I will consider buying another someday. Most importantly, it plays in tune for a short scale bass. It balances well, not heavy, plays even, sounds wonderful, and looks super cool.

Check out the vid review I did of this exact bass:

Airline Map Bass review, Eastwood Guitars - YouTube

The only cosmetic flaws with the instrument are a very little dent on the neck, and a very little spot of black paint by the tone selector. (I try to show these in pics) These extremely small flaws were on the bass when I received it new from Eastwood a month ago.

This bass new with case shipped from Eastwood would run around $950. I will do $600 shipped CONUS.

This is a great one!

Dude, I just wanted to say that review on YouTube was fantastic. Really useful information (e.g. the bit about how your arm rests on the contoured top). And some great humor ("Gumby-style headstock"). Good luck with the sale. And you should keep reviewing basses on YouTube (if you're not already).

These really are very nifty instruments. Here is another great review of the bass for anyone who needs more opinions!

I used one of these in a recent run of "Always Patsy". Found all tone positions really useful. The bridge pickup soloed with a pick and muting with your palm gave one of the best tic-tac bass tones I've heard. Cool basses for sure!

Still got this guy. I haven't really been in any hurry to sell it.

I like it. If I weren't in a "minimize" phase, financially, I would certainly consider it.

Still getting a lot of use from mine. Finally settled on stringing it with heavy gauge La Bella Jameson Flats. Just the ticket. That bridge pickup kills soloed.
