This bass is Brand New. This model has the TOM bridge instead of the floating wood bridge. I had 2 basses sent from Eastwood and picked the Map bass for various reasons. It has only been played for at most an hour. Still has the protective plastic on the pickups and pick guard. I show in a picture that the G string was splitting at the bridge when I received the bass from Eastwood. I will throw in a set of S.I.T. nickel strings so you can be up and running when you get it. Although, this bass screams for flats. So, if you don't want S.I.T. strings... let me keep them! Like I said, this is new and the walnut finish is scratch free. For full disclosure on the cosmetics of the bass, the bridge pickup is 2/32 of an inch closer to the neck pickup on the bass side. However, the sound is great and this doesn't effect the performance at all. I'm just trying to be really anal in the description. It's got that great semi-hollow sound and I find the bridge pickup more usable on this bass than most other basses of this style because it's positioned closer to the neck. It's not as "honkey" as others. The hard shell case has a few small dents at the back of the top. The price is $450 shipped to CONUS. Paypal works for me. Thanks for looking!
ahhh want!
If not for funding issues this would be mine. If it's around in a couple weeks (I know it won't be...) I'll be giving it some serious thought.
