Let me start by thanking you for looking, and listing my terms/ground rules per se: - Looking for Money Order sell on this one. While I have PayPal, I'm not looking to eat their fees on this dollar amount. If this is a make/break hang up for anyone, I'm sure we can work something out.
- Bass will be shipped via USPS unless otherwise asked by the buyer, after the money order clears.
- If you have any questions, feel free to ask in here or via PM - pricing questions please direct to PM only.
- If you would like additional pictures, don't hesitate to ask, I can/will accommodate serious buyers.
- At this time NO trades please.
Now for some particulars about this bass:
I recently bought this, pretty much knowing that I'd end up turning around to sell it again. I never at all liked glossy necks, and this is no exception. While this is one that has agreed with me the most (doesn't feel as "sticky" as they normally do to my hands), it's still just not the same as a satin neck for me.
I hate to use this term, but this one is definitely "like new" or "mint". I just got done wiping it down and looking for scratches as well as I could, and I cannot find a single one on this anywhere. It has only been to one band practice, where it actually stayed in the case about 1/2 the time anyway; otherwise it's stayed in the house.
It is, of course, a tonal MONSTER. It's a Bongo. A jack-of-all-trades really. I adore the tone of this thing. It's not a P, it's not a J, it's not a Stingray. It has it's own voice, but it sure does kick a lot of ass. The 4 band on board EQ is very sensitive and able to dial in a lot of tones, especially when you consider the blend knob.
It will, of course, come with the EBMM Certificate of Authenticity as all BFR's have.
It also, of course, comes with the OHSC which is in just as nice condition.
If you ask very nicely, I might even throw in a pack of EBMM strings as well. But you have to ask. Nicely.
Considering the condition it's in, and the fact that I'm in absolutely no hurry to sell this, I'm going to ask for $1500 + shipping (con US) to your door - firm. International welcome, but some places have size restrictions that won't allow me to ship the HSC - just PM me if you want and we'll work out the details.
For comparison, feel free to browse @ BassCentral.com - they currently have this identical bass in their used section (in "like new" condition) and are asking $1899 for it Link Here. Save yourself $300 and buy this one instead.
Here's the eye-candy:
^ that picture sucks.
