EBMM S.U.B. (2-band active) *Rare WHITE*

Sign in to disble this ad
EBMM S.U.B. *WHITE*

* 2-band active EQ
* Early model/Low serial number
* Made in the USA
* New SKB-44 Hardcase

This S.U.B. is one of the early models with only "S.U.B." (no "bass") on the headstock.
The fretboard was "ebonized" (darkened) by the previous owner, which looks killer.
It is in SUPER CLEAN condition. Only a few tiny minor blemishes.

I bought it here on TB:
FS: Super-Clean & Rare White EBMM S.U.B.-4 Active w/Levys Bag
Previous owner's photos are very nice.

I haven't added any extra dings or scratches since I've owned it. Hardly played it.
I have upgraded the pickguard to a gloss black.
And I bought a nice SKB-44 hard case for it ($130), which is included.

It has the 2-band EQ which is capable of some very warm and organic tones for a Stingray.....but for anyone who thinks a 2-band can't growl, think again. This sucker can get mean, and has an open E that approaches the "brown note" haha.

The SUBs are USA made EBMM quality at crazy price point. I can't even apologize for the looks of this particular SUB, because I think it's as sexy as any 'Ray I've seen.

The only reason I'm selling is because I need to thin my humble herd, and I'm more sentimentally attached to my other 1988 'Ray. The SUB sounds just as good...(actually better IMO)...it's just an emotional thing.

$600 shipped/USA

I just snagged one of these from a friend and they are awesome basses! The white ones, though, just hit a special spot in my heart. That is one amazing looking bass, GLWTS.

I have to admit these sound more old school than the 3 band Stingray.
I own both a SUB and a Stingray and these basses are amazing
they sound solid and are built like tanks!

Your bass is in incredible condition! Usually the headstocks are torn up but what a beaut!

It's probably a long shot, and may be offensive to some...
But, I might be interested in a trade for:

American Special Telecaster
American Standard Telecaster(2008+)
'72 Custom Tele
or ?? Tele
