EBMM StingRay 4

Sign in to disble this ad
I have finally accepted that fact that I have moved on to the 6 string full time. I think it's a shame this bass isn't getting played, so it's time for it to go. $1,250 $1,050 + shipping CONUS only

EBMM StingRay 4
Made in 1991
Translucent White (This is listed as a "Special" in the Music Man database. I was told by them that they only did 3 of these that year and did not do another one till '94 or '95)
Pau Ferro board
Birdseye Maple neck
Tortoise shell pickguard
3 band EQ
New mute pad kite installed
New EBMM replacement pickup
This is a former fretless
Serial # 33093
Ships with SKB case

This bass has been played over the last 20 years and not keep in a case. It has a few dings and chips, but nothing noticeable till you get up on it.

Please feel free to PM me for more pics and details. I have about 15 close-up pics ready to go.

Sorry it took so long to get this. I wanted to make sure I got something more than a bathroom scale weight.

just noticed the pics of the back.....is this a double 9v battery casing i see? does your bass use 18 volts for the pre(and is that stock)? Also you said former fretless.......did you have the neck fretted or is this EBMM replacement neck? Thanks

Neck was fretted in '98 I believe.

I had an Aguilar pre in it for a while, but it is now back to stock. It made more since to leave the double battery pack for cosmetic reasons. I just use the dead one as a spare now.

You are kind of killing me with this bass...

The best era for Stingrays (as far as I'm concerned!), Pao Ferro board, a beautiful neck, one of my favorite finishes, and a killer price.

Good thing I'm a 5 string guy and can't do anything about it
