Elrick 5 Buckeye Burl custom Hybrid bass. If you aren't familiar with Rob Elrick's hybrid necks here's a quote from his literature.

"The Hybrid model perfectly bridges the gap between thru-neck and bolt-on. Features include set neck construction with book-matched exotic wood top and carved neck heel. The feel of a thru-neck with many qualities of a bolt-on."

This bass is custom with $400 upgraded Buckeye Burl top, Bartolini pickups, Elrick upgraded Aguilar OBP-3 preamp with 3 way mid & active bypass, active/passive switch, bass, mid, treble, controls, pickup pan, birdseye Maple finger board, wenge neck. Will come with an Elrick Zero Gravity case in excellent condition.

This custom Elrick is in excellent condition. Pics really don't do the real thing justice. Even has custom buckeye burl knobs completing the look.

I've lowered my asking price to $2300 OBO for this beauty and have added a picture of the case. I could be interested in a trade. Let me know what you have.

Gasp on the top, finger board and the price! What are the weight and string spacing?

Weight just 8 lbs. String spacing directly over bridge saddles center of string to center of string is 20 mm. Directly over nut center of string to center of string 10 mm.

I'm told I may have measured the string spacing incorrectly. 19mm near the bridge is probably more accurate.

I've also been asked about the action. Right now it is set pretty low. Perfect intonation on all frets. Certainly capable of action being raised if new owner desires. There is no fret damage.
