Elrick Basses For Sale!!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

Time to thin the herd and generate some funds to cover some recent purchases...

Sadly, that means these two babies gotta go. Both are in like-new condition. No damage, not issues whatsoever. Hopefully the pics can help show that...

The 5 Stringer was some type of special build by Rob (So I'm told...) for some guitar store in NYC I believe. It's got a beautiful birdseye maple board on a bolt-on wenge neck. THe body I believe is ash with a maple top...I think. I am not a wood expert. The only change to this bass is the preamp. I had a Mike Pope preamp professionally installed in it by Mike Koontz (Detroit). Bartolini Jazz bass pickups are still the original ones. It's a beautiful job and the bass plays and sounds awesome. I believe this is the "Classic" Model. Hoping to get $1700 OBO + Shipping with the Pope Preamp in it. Comes in OHSC.

Next up is the 6 stringer, Classic Series, Hybrid neck...I am not 100% on the woods. I think it's maple burl on the top, ash body, maple neck with wenge board (Though I have been told that it's not wenge and could be something different...maybe I can email Rob to find out about this). Absolutely not a scratch on this bass. No changes done to it. Original Bart preamp as well as bart soapbar pickups. Hoping to get $2000 OBO + Shipping for this bass. Comes with gator soft shell case thing...Pretty nice case. Not a gig-bag, not a hardshell either.

I'd prefer PAYPAL or cash/MO deals but if you have an interesting trade I may listen. Worst I'll say is "No Thanks!"

Pics...let's see if I can figure out how to attach them...

Yo, this six string is on the Elrick site...identified by the little dark mark just before the horn....

Working on a list of questions to be sent in PM if 6 is still available...is it?

Thanks

That's the neck blank showing through- it's a wenge neck.
