Elrick EVO Platinum Spalted Maple Neck-thru now FOR SALE!

Sign in to disble this ad
SOLD!

I'm reluctantly putting my Elrick Evolution (EVO) Neckthru 5 string in near new condition up for trade. The only difference from when original is that the Briwax coat has been removed (can easily be reapplied) and Harold's Beeswax and Orange oil applied (a soft wax blend more similar to that on Warwicks). I prefer the Satin look and feel this gives as opposed to the slicker semigloss of the Briwax. To order a new bass with the same specs would retail around $5600 including case and would sell for over 4 grand today. The trade value I want for this bass is $2800. This particular bass was reviewed in BassPlayer magazine in February of 2004. You can read the article below. Here are the specs:

35" scale
Spalted maple top with Ash body and Walnut/Padauk laminates
Quartersawn maple neck with Macassar Ebony fingerboard
Bartolini 3-band preamp with 3-way mid and active bypass
Black Hipshot Hardware
Weighs exactly 8.5lbs
Bartolini Soapbar Pickups
24 frets with zero fret
Fully shielded control cavity
Dunlop Straplocks

I will consider all trades that aren't acoustics, fretless, or 6 or more stringers. I will also consider trading up or trading down with cash added accordingly.

I will consider all trades that aren't acoustics, fretless, or 6 or more stringers.

Hi,
Nicesssssssss bass
Are these pups active, they are like those from pedulla.
BTW, do you have a photo of complete bass back, like to check the neck woods from the back.
Thanks,
Chalie

The pickups are passive pickups but the bass has an active bartolini preamp. Here is the complete bass back. Thanks for the interest.

Just want to say from one Elrick owner to another nice bass man. Can't believe neither of our Elricks have sold. I know times are tough but these things are works of art. One of a kind instruments. Wish I didn't have to sell mine. Anyway somebody jump on this!

The lightwave is probably too out of the box for me right now. Thanks for the offer though.
