Epiphone Thunderbird / T-Bird

Just got this to see if I could hang with the whole Gibson bass thing, and I'm hooked. Probably not hooked enough to stop playing my Music Man, but I did buy a Thunderbird Studio 5!

Epiphone Thunderbird in vintage sunburst. I believe it's a 2010 model. There is one dinged up area on the back side lower bout on the bass side. Neck is straight and action is medium-low. Sounds great with a pick and fingerstyle. Pickups are hot and low-noise. Not much to tell - it's a Thunderbird. I've got a gig bag that fits it pretty well that I'll throw in for free.

I have moved the strap button to the neck plate. I drilled out the button slightly and am using the neck bolt to hold the button. It works pretty well and you have your choice of four different bolts to find the one that balances best for you! The original strap button screw is in the hole on the top horn so there's not an open hole up there.

Asking $200 shipped CONUS. I will ship internationally but I might have to take the bass apart to get it there.

Might trade for the right 15" speaker(s). I have a couple of single 15" cabs that could use drivers. Any other trades out there? Definitely interested in hearing what you've got.

Pics:

One ding on bass side lower bout - this is on the back side and isn't visible from the front.

Strap button:

$225 shipped CONUS, PayPal OK. Interested in trading for cool stuff - let me know what you've got!

Trades:
15" speakers
Nice DI for recording

Bumping this. Just got another 5-string T-Bird so I really don't need this bass. Asking $200 shipped, a bit more for international.

Open to trades: (most are +cash on the buyer's end)
EMG ABC active blend
15" speakers (Eminence Delta 15A, maybe)
EMG 40CS or 40P5 pickups (need 2)
Line 6 M5
Danelectro Longhorn or DC bass (Korean) + cash from me

Interesting that you prefer the strap button on the back of the body. I went to a local music store and they had 2 of em with the strap buttons in different places. For me it was definitely better with the strap button on the "horn" than on the neck plate.

Great price for this bass- too bad my $$ is committed elsewhere!

Some people like their 'Birds with the button on the horn, and some on the heel. This way you can choose either . I will include a second strap button if the buyer wants the button on the horn.
