RBX4 A2: There is nothing wrong with this, functionally. But it does have some noticeable scratches and a small dent on the back of the headstock. I tried to show it all in the pictures. If you want more pics or maybe better pics, let me know. I have the truss nut cavity cover and screws.
Functionally, its perfect. It has a great quality neck. I don't think production bass fretwork gets better than this, its seriously good. Neck thickness and shape are very similar to my Fender Jaguar. Though the fret board radius feels different. With the Modern jumbo frets, it makes a unique feeling neck. The back of the neck is painted, Piano black. Only gets a little restricive when really sweaty. The pickups are the stock Yamaha custom shop blades. They are super clean and clear sounding. There's no dirt or grind in there. It does have a nice beef to it, but its always clear. Very different from a fender type sound. Its kind of like what EMGs might sound like if they didn't have the compressed shrillness to them. The two pickup volume knobs have red and blue LEDs that light up, powered by a single 9volt. The tone knob looks the same, but had no LED in it. Strings mount through the body, with metal tubes for the strings that run through the thickness of the body. The body is constructed with a proprietary process from Yamaha known as A.I.R. Its a very light bass. Balance is basically perfect.
Ergodyne EDB550: This is the last revision Ibanez did of the Ergodyne. Its made of wood, not plastic or whatever the originals were made from. plenty of small scratches and dings, Shown in pictures. There is also a ding in the back of the neck, in between the 12th and 13th fret. Its slightly worse than superficial. Its not at all intrusive to playing. The sixth fret has a couple of small dents in it. Does not affect playability. The bridge, input jack plate, and knobs have oxidized a bit. I actually think it looks cool. The pictures sort of show it.
Functionally there is nothing wrong with the bass. Very nice 5 piece Wenge/Bubinga neck, SR4 dimensions. Quality production fretwork. Slim, Solid Ash body. Overall very lightweight bass. Duncan designed pickups that sound really good. Very good, darker jazz bass sound. Good growl. The neck pickup does the P thing well. The pre-amp is fine, if relatively low output. The pots scratch a bit when turning. The pickups already sound great, but they would probably benefit from either going passive or swapping for a nice pre. Balances near perfect, like any SR.
Danelectro Dano 63 SS: This is in very good condition. The only problem I noticed is there is a sort of watermark behind the bridge, probably from sweat or maybe somebody's drink splashed. I tried to get it out with rubbing alchohol, but it seems semi-permanent. Its fairly subtle, though. Other than that, this thing has no notable issues. No dings or scratches were found when closely inspecting. Even the tape is tight all the way around the body, except onn the back edge of the upper horn. There the tape is slightly lifted, easy to miss, not a big deal.
The neck on this thing is fantastic. Nice D-shape, but not super thick/chunky. Flat radius, Great frets, Feels really good to play. The neck has never come off for a truss adjustment. The action came set just fine, so I've never tried to lower it via the bridge. I did intonate using the 12th fret method. Plastic is still on the cover for the electronics cavity. Hangs kind of weird with a standard strap because there isn't really a lot of room to attach to the upper buckle. With a slim strap though it would mount better, seems like it should hang ok. Super light bass. Pretty low output, passive pickups. Soloed neither of them excited me. But together they sound pretty nice, with a nice warm subtle growel. Role off the tone knob and this thing gets pretty wooley pretty quick
SX Jaguar SS: besides some light scratches on the back of the body, the only blemish that happen to this while I've owned it, is a chip/ding on the outside edge of the lower part of the body (shown pretty clearly in pics). Now there are plenty of other blemishes with this thing, all of which came with the bass new, straight from rondo. Some nicks on the headstock, noticeable fretboard rash in several spots, it looks like this thing has been played every night for the past 30 years with roudnwounds. and the fretboard and frets have always looked dirty. It is dirty. I never took the time to clean it off, but will before shipping. The fretwork is good. It could use a level, but its fine and still gives a good action.
Functionally the thing is fine. The pickups suck. they sound dumb. But they work fine. Despite all of the cosmetic issues, the thing actually feels quite nice to play. Really, how good it feels is notable, because the neck almost looks reliced. but it really could be a nice player. I bought it intending to mod it and refinish it, but never did. The pickguard is fake tort. The frets are big and thick. It has the new headstock (obviously) which I think looks really cool on this bass. Especially with the smaller body, the headstock appears larger, again, I like the look a lot. The tuners have never given me problems.

(this first pic is from when it was brand new, only showing to give a correct impression of the color and richness of the finish, as it was taken with a DSLR in mostly natural lighting. My charger for that is in another state, so the new pics below this were taken with a $60 pocket shooter with less than ideal color response, in a kitchen)
