As much as it pains me to unload this magnificent piece of playable art, I need to thin the herd. My work situation has drastically changed lately and the future is uncertain. I have a 17 month old son and a daughter due in October. Apparently life has a way of squelching my musical adventures... for now... Enough of my reasons, this is an incredible instrument from a great builder.
I purchased this bass from LamarJonz a few years back, so I'm putting it back on the block for the same price. Eshenbaughs are really growing in popularity, so you can expect this bass to be worth a ton more in the near future - yes, it's that good.
The bass is walnut and maple, Nord singles, Esh 3-band preamp, and some of the nicest woodwork I have ever seen on a bass, from any luthier.
Here's some great pics that LJ took: http://www.lamarjonz.com/Bass/Esh_J4.htm
Any questions, please ask. It's really painful to sell this one. $1700 shipped.

The new crop of builders for the most part all have top-notch skills, but Eshenbaugh is a standout in my book for the whole package. Tone, craftsmanship, and amazing playability. If I were to order a custom electric today it would either be from Mark Eshenbaugh or Carey Nordstrand.

Wonderful basses all around. Browne basses look quite interesting as well......it certainly is a great time to be a bass player. Lots of talented builders. |
