ESP J1005 Quilt top 5 string

im selling my ESP ltd j 1005, Burgandy quilt top with rosewood fingerboard, EMG active pickups, gold hardware and OHSC, case is pretty worn. asking $600 or best offer.
heres the specs
ESP LTD Deluxe J-1005

2003 (1st year of production) ESP J-1005. Here are the specs:
- Construction: Bolt-on, 35" scale
- Body: Ash with quilted maple top, abalone purfling on body
- Neck/Fretboard: Maple/rosewood with dual graphite reinforcement rods
- Inlays: Abalone dots with model name at 12th fret
- Pickups: EMG 35 or 40 PJ
- Electronics: 2 volume, EMG BTS active EQ
- Hardware: Gold satin
- Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite
- Bridge: Hipshot "A" style with string-thru-body
- Binding: abalone (body) only available 1st year
- Frets: 21 XJ
- Color: STR (see-through red)

If I did not already have a very similar bass (Schecter California Custom 5, same color) I would go for it. These are great basses and are very very under appreciated. This is a lot of bass for the money bump.

Thanks Keith, its really a shame more people are not familiar with these basses, they get lumped in with some lower end models by people but they are nothing like the lower end Esp ltds.

Exactly. These basses are almost identical to some very high end boutique basses at a stupid low price. I would throw some trade offers at you if you were interested I like these basses so much.

Questions Dan,

So are those 2 different pickups, a split P and a single J?

What width at the nut? Satin or gloss on that neck?

Is it a heavy bass?

nope same pickups not sure why the specs list it that way lol. Gloss neck i will take a measurment when i get home tonite on width for you. i will also check the weight for you im guessing 10-11#s.

Ok so the width at the nut is 1 3/4 and the weight is 10.4 #s on a digital bathroom scale.
