I just picked up this pretty nice 5er from a dude who owed me some money. I've played it pretty non-stop for the past few days, and it's really a pretty good bass. I'm good with my Fender Jazz V and prefer 34" scale, so I'm thinking I'd offer it up in trade...only I have no idea what I want. Maybe a partial trade for a Tech21 VTBass(v2)? Toss me some trade offers and we can go from there.
For a straight sale,
I'd guess about $225 + shipping is in the ballpark how about a price drop to $200 + shipping, since the only comparable I can find is new at Sam Ash, and they're asking $329 shipped. I guess this one is an '08, based on the serial number, and it's in pretty nice shape. There's one ding on the upper horn (at one of the "pointies"), another at the bottom, near the strap button, and some typical headstock dings.
If you're interested, I'm open-minded and reasonable. Just PM me.
Here's what I copied off the Sam Ash page: It's a 35" scale, model number LF105WH. The maple neck is a bolt-on (4-bolt), with a rosewood fretboard and 24 extra-jumbo frets and ESP tuners. The body is basswood, with an ESP DB-5 bridge. It's got passive ESP soapbars, controlled by a master volume, blend and a 2-band active EQ.
Here's a few photos:
