I have a 2002 F-Bass with an Inca Gold finish. It's one of 18 produced by George Furlanetto (Mr. F-Bass). Here is the email I got from George today:
That is the 18th instrument (18), started in March (03) for the year 2002 (02)
Shipped Dec 11, 2002
That is part of a special run of NY5, custom made for Jimmy Coppolo when he ran the NY Guitar and Bass Boutique
He wanted reverse heads placement, heavier ash, smaller vintage fretwire, solid custom colours, Hipshot heads.
Maple fretboard, Northern ash body, chrome hardware, Inca Gold finish

There are a few places where finish is fading and stress fractures in the paint is showing (around the bridge pickup). These are pretty small and not visible from several feet away. As you may or may not know, F-Bass use a very thin coat of paint on their basses so this is not uncommon at all.
None of which affect the sound quality of this bass! This a funk or slap monster! The B string is extremely full. The action is very low without buzz. I think it could go even lower if desired.
I've made the price pretty low since it isn't perfect - $1800 shipped to the lower 48 PayPal accepted.
As George said it has a "heavier ash" body. So, it weighs 10.8 lbs, but it is balanced well. No neck dive.
Here's a chance to own a quality F-Bass instrument at a decent price!
