F Bass- BN5F w/wood bridge

Sign in to disble this ad
here's an F bass bn5f that ive had for almost 10 years. i just got an email back from george confirming that the retail on this would by 5300 bucks
the specs are
charcoal burst
passive
wood bridge
alder body
maple center block
34.5" scale
19mm spacing
unlined board with side lines
its been played so its got its share of pencil eraser size dings around the edges so its a player. the lacquer he used to use is extremely soft so there some finger wear from where i'd rest my thumb and some wear on the pickup covers. its hardly a relic, but i want to mention everything, because i cant get the stuff to show up in pics.

now price. figuring new would be around 25% off of retail (3975.00), lets try 2300+shipping

I want this so badly; but it's so far out of my bank account balance range it's funny.

Man, that is a fabulous looking BNF5. Of the admittedly few fretless I have played the BNF5 is by far the nicest.

Good luck bump.

alder ebony. No wonder this this sounds so good on your clips. I figgered it were swamp ash. I would take that over an AC5.

its got georges stacked humcancelling pickups. ive got it rewired to the current set up of single coil in the default positon and pull up on the tone knob for humbucking.

Yes Joe, Tom is right! That solo smoked.

What a beautiful fretless. I use to think that Zon built the best fretless basses but I don't anymore. Goerge's fretless basses are it.

thanks jerry. i think i outline harmony a little better these days (that was a few years ago), but i was asked so i posted.

unfortunately this is one of those basses that even if i wasnt switching over to narrower spacing, id be selling anyway. its the best fretless ive played, but its taken me a while to reconcile that im never going to play fretless all that much.
