Up for sale is a cool fretless Frankenbass that I put together which includes the following:
SX – P bass body with 3ts finish with photo flame top.
Fender Squier Jazz bass neck – that has been defretted, the lines were filled with wood epoxy and color matched to the rosewood and a redesigned headstock, I also replaced the plastic dots with pearl and all sanded to radius. The finish is a high gloss urethane that was applied with spray gun and is smooth as glass.
Hardware: Grover tuners, Allparts vintage threaded bridge, Stewmac roller string tree, Fender b/w/b pick guard and barrel style knobs.
Electronics: Original SX pups, CTS pots and Switchcraft jack
Strung with Fender black nylons.
Overall the bass plays real nice and has that nice fretless sound, it won’t disappoint.
I am looking got get $150 shipped/ USA. It comes with a case that will get the shipping job done.
