F/S 02 Fender American Deluxe Precision V - mint!

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys, new here and unfortunately (or fortunately for someone here), selling my Am Deluxe PV. I certainly don't consider myself an accomplished bassist, but this instrument has always sounded fabulous to me. I bought it new for a recording project I did in 2003.

Other than being played for one song during an awards show, it has never been gigged or even left my house. As the title says, it's in absolute mint condition. There is one slight scuff in the clearcoat on the back that can probably be polished out, but I'm a little hesitant to try since I don't want to make anything worse. Tried to post a decent picture showing this scuff, but not sure that it shows up well......very hard to pick out. Other than that, I can't find any scratches, other scuffs, chips, etc. Also, the bass has never been modded. What you see (other than the strings) is what I bought new.

Included is the original hardshell case, along with all the goodies. The straplocks currently on the bass (Schaller) also go with it, but no strap.

It has taken me a few weeks to decide to actually sell it, but the time has come. It doesn't get played as much as it should be, so hopefully someone here will give it the attention it deserves!

Asking $1050 shipping included (continental US only - no exceptions on this....sorry). Also, will ship the item as soon as payment has cleared. I'll take Paypal, M/O or cashier's check.

Let me know if you have any questions or would like to see better/more specific pictures.

Thanks for the comments. It is a very nice bass, and hopefully someone else here feels the same way. It just isn't getting the attention it should at my place.

Kind of a Longshot trade...

I have a Ken Smith Burner6 (bolt on) bass that I bought from RyanL (here on the boards)... it's a great sounding instrument but the spacing is too tight for me.. I figure the value is pretty identical... not sure if that interests you...

I can send pics etc... I'm in SoCal (if that helps)

Thx,

-ryan

Thanks for the offer, but this is a for sale only. I have another 5 string to play and really don't play bass that much anyway (keys are my main instrument).

Appreciate the offer though.
