F.S. 1983 Fullerton '57 P-Bass Reissue & Upgraded MIJ 51 P-Bass Reissue.

For sale are 2 of my Fenders. These basses are the bees knees but I need the cash to buy a bass that I really want, otherwise I would keep them.

1983, made in Fullerton '57 P-Bass Reissue in Candy Apple Red. Maple board, Gold Anodized pickguard.... There's not much to say, if you like P-Basses it doesn't get any better than this. I bought it because we play lots of Motown and this bass delivers (can you say Jamerson!)!! Very good condition for it's age. Comes in the original tweed case in excellent condition. $1200 shipped. sold!!

MIJ (1991 I think) Fender '51 Reissue in Sunburst. Upgraded with a D-Tuner, Basslines pickup and MIA bridge (easier to intonate). This bass sound punchy! Excellent condition, the protective plastic is still on the pickguard. $699 shipped in a nice gig bag.

Trades, I'm after another R-Bass singlecut but I would trade both basses for the right 5 or 6 string bass. I'm interested in R-Basses (of course), Smiths, Roscoes, MTDs or? +/- cash depending on what you have.

Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for looking!

I'm brand new on here and have been looking for a Fullerton era 57 RI...
Bummed I missed this one!

Here's pictures of my 78 Fender Jazz bass once player my John Maurer of Social Distortion and recently set up by Gary Brawer (http://www.brawerguitarrepair.blogspot.com/).
It was in a house fire nearly 20 years ago but plays perfectly. I'm looking to swap straight across for a Fullerton-era (1982- 1984) Fender '57 reissue in Black, Placid Blue, or one of the Reds. Please let me know if anyone is looking to trade one.

Thanks again,

jay

I miss this freaking bass

I don't know what I was thinking.... Anyway, I'm willing to trade this nice '51 for a MIJ, CIJ '57 or '62 P-Bass reissue (prefer CAR or Sunburst) or maybe even a '70s Jazz reissue. I will entertain other nice P basses as well! Cash works too

Pms replied.

Price drop to $699 shipped. I have a couple of great trade offers but cash is king. If I don't sell it this weekend I'll just trade it.

I'm still entertaining P-Basses, MIA, MIJ, CIJ, parts P-Basses (Warmoth, All Parts) etc. I'm willing to add a wad of cash for the right MIA '57/'62 reissue or CS. Prefer sunburst and rosewood boards.
