F/S: 1983 YAMAHA BB3000s - Vintage White
Pics updated!! FINAL PRICE DROP
1983 Yamaha BB3000s in the gorgeous Vintage White.
I don't think this one needs too much of an explanation. Absolutely the best BB3000s I've ever come across, hands down. One ding in the headstock is the only flaw I could find on this bass. Plays like butter, killer low action, and has "that" BB3000 sound you've heard on a ton of records. The finish is amazing, super fast neck, almost perfect frets, and the most stunning streaked Ebony fretboard! (the pics don't do it justice...)
All original in every way, and original HSC. Bit of wear inside case above bridge, no big deal, see pics. This is the one!
I'm looking for ***
No trades, please. I'm moving and need to downsize, otherwise I would absolutely not be selling this one.
Weighed it on my scale yesterday, 8.5 lbs.
Sunday bump, this would look great on your church stage! ;) ;)
Hey, this one used to be mine!
This particular 3000S is boutique quality all around. Fit and finish is perfect, playability is fantastic, and the fact that its light means no back or shoulder pain.
Great bass here folks, and a great seller too.
thisSNsucks: yeah this was totally your bass! Thanks for the kind words!
This one really is the nicest BB3000s you will ever come across. Get it while you can!!
Never hurts to make an offer... :)
Ok final price drop and then I'm sending it to the 'Bay, anyone out there interested? I'd much rather work out a good deal here than sell things on "the 'bay"
I updated the pics and added a bunch of new better ones, just scroll down on the link: http://www.thejoshtree.com/?p=428
what is the difference between a bb3000 and a 2000?
I wasn't sure, but I found this on talkbass...
"The BB2000 is significantly different from the 3000. Like the older BB1100 and 1200's, the BB2000 has the original big bottom body shape with less cutaway on the lower horn and a slightly shorter upper horn, wider P-type neck and string spacing and a reversed P along with it's J."
Think I'll just keep this one for now, closing the thread, if interested still PM me and we'll see if we can work something out! :-)
