Up for sale is my 1999 Lakland 55-94. Of course it has some swirls and a ding or two on the body however, for a 13 year old bass it is in extremely good condition and is ultra clean.
The quilted maple top is exquisite and may be the best I've ever seen. The birdseye board is gorgeous and is very densely figured...a rare find actually. The neck is very smooth and clean, very fast and is super straight from the 1st. fret all the way up to the 22nd. The bass has the original Bart pre and pups which many consider to be the best. It sounds amazing and has a B string that is very articulate and rings for days. The bass is a real looker and sounds killer.
The bass comes with the original hard shell case which is "rock solid" and is also in very good condition. It has strap locks on it. I also just put on a new set of DR Marcus Miller Fat Beams for this sale. The bass weighs in at 9.6 lbs. but feels lighter because it is so balanced.
