Well, then you can take some pride in knowing you made it happen . I have been in the market for a Bubinga/Walnut Cirrus 4 stringer and was extremely reluctant to believe Rick's bass was Bubinga. But after you did the footwork on finding out the specs on it, I pretty much had to make it happen at that point

John

P.S. Any string recommendations? I haven't bought anything but Warwick Black Label strings for years (for my Thumb), don't even know where to start for strings on another bass.

The bass arrived today. Since I haven't been able to put it down, i'm going to have to type this with the bass in my lap.

Holy crap! What an amazing instrument. Everything people say about these basses (Cirrus') is true. If I had come up with a mental image of exactly how I hoped this bass would be, it arrived exactly like that. One of the best slap tones i've ever heard. Thanks a million Rick!

In case anyone wants to hear, this is a clip of the bass plugged directly into my computer with the knobs completely flat, with no preamp or EQ or anything (standard disclaimer blah blah sloppy playing blah blah 2nd take blah blah etc applies):

This thing is a dream!
