F/S-2008 FENDER MIA PRECISION (OLY. WHITE/ROSEWOOD)

SOLD!!!! I will close this thread once the bass is received by the new owner!

2008 Fender MIA Precision bass. I picked this up at GC in Oct. 2012. When I got it, I took it to Corner Music in Nashville for a checkup and setup! She received a clean bill of health and plays/sounds like a dream!

Reason for selling: I decided to go back to school to get my teaching certification. Unfortunately I had to take an unpaid internship (student teaching) to do this and now money is tight. Since this is the newest bass in the stable, it is the first to go.

I spent the past few years trying just about every Fender P bass that I came across. IMO, this is a fantastic example of what an MIA Fender P bass should be. It feels great and sounds HUGE running thru my Demeter amp into a DNA 1x12 cab!

I am asking $800 $750 OBO SHIPPED CONUS COMES WITH THE OHSC!!

I'LL ALSO THROW IN THE LIKE NEW BROWN/BLACK LEVY STRAP SHOW IN THE PIC AS WELL!

Here is the description of the strap
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acces...r-guitar-strap

***ADDED NEW HI-RES PHOTOS***
-upon taking these pics I noticed some minor belt rash on the back, a small ding on the body, a small mark on the fretboard (it looks like it's from playing vibrato with roundwound strings) and a small hair line crack in the finish on either side of the neck pocket.

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Thanks OshKoshJoash! Teaching is definitely a tough profession, but I enjoy it!
...it also is a great way to earn a steady income AND still have some time to gig!

I have precisely the same bass, but a year later -- 2009. Not only does it look great, to me it proves what so many people say: That the 2008 and beyond American Standard P's and J's are the best in the series in decades. Mine plays like four sticks of butter. A bass I never will sell. Someone needs to grab this.

Here are a few ore pics. The grain on the fretboard has a pretty sweet pattern IMO!

What's the neck width at nut and its profile?
Thanks!

I believe the nut width is 1.625", which is typical for the MIA precision bass line. I will verify via a picture later this afternoon!

It has the modern "C" shaped neck. The neck is a bit thinner than most of the MIA Fenders I have played. I find it very comfortable for my short stubby fingers!

Hope this helps!
