i just finished this project and it turned out really cool.
i got a stripped 64 body off ebay.
it had nothing on it at all.
so here's what i did.
i removed and filled the left post hole then i reset it to fit the really awesome hipshot bridge.
( the old style bridge was almost impossible to find and intonate. they set the post at an angle thats why i had to move it).
has hipshot tuners
and 2 single coil chisonics.
i also moved the jack to the side and it is vol/vol/tone.
it is missing the back control cover which will be easy to fix i just haven't got around to it yet.
if its a deal breaker i can go get some single ply black pickguard material and cut it out.
its a really cool bass.
sounds and plays really well. neck is nice and straight and truss rod works fine.
sets up great and plays fast as hell!
the 2 chis give this bass lots of character.
its has a nice relic'd body and the neck pocket has no cracks.
i have 1300.00 in this so please make a reasonable offer
