F/S 94-95 Fender Jazz Japan FotoFlame

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale is a Japanese Fender Jazz FotoFlame.

I just received it myself but it is just not what I'm looking for.

The bass is in very good shape except for the telltale finish cracking that this model is infamous for. I did my best to capture it in the pictures.

Ash Body, FotoFlame Maple Top, Rosewood Board.

Weight is 8lbs. 10oz.

As far as I can tell it is 100% original. I'm not an expert on these though so please ask any questions you like.

This is the FotoFlame model...sometimes known as the Hamburglar Bass for the image of the Hamburglar in the Flame on the back of the neck.

It is currently strung with flats. Plays very well and sounds good too. Again it is just not quite what I'm looking for but I know all of you understand...the eternal quest continues..

I'm not interested in trades at this time.

From the Guitar Dater Project:
Guitar Info
Your guitar was made at the
Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan
in the Year(s): 1994 - 1995

I'm asking $575 Shipped ConnUS.

It will come in the really bad gigbag I received it in...no real padding. But I will pack it very well.

Thanks.
Cheers

Hamburglar bass! This was my first "real" Fender. Great axe that nails the '60s Jazz tone with some modern looks.

Not sure. But it is nice and thin. Significantly thinner than my 71 pbass.

Fotoflame

I have both a Fotoflame P bass that has this exact finish and a Fotoflame in Cherryburst.
Both are killer players and sound amazing.

Free bump for a great bass.
