F/S - Atkinson Custom P/J Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
For sale ONLY:
Atkinson Custom P/J Bass

Body: USACG Alder with Olympic White nitro finish
Neck: USACG Maple w/wheel adjust truss rod nut
Fingerboard: Indian Rosewood w/vintage size frets
Nut Width: 1.5"
Radius: 9.5"
Electronics: Passive Lakland/Hanson P-bass & DiMarzio noiseless J P/Us (Volume/Tone)
Pickguard: Fender Tort
Bridge: Fender Vintage
Tuners: StewMac (Wilkinson?) vintage-style clover
Weight: 8 lbs.

This bass is very resonant, and nicely built by Atkinson. The condition is excellent, with nice nitro finish checking on the body, a very light relic job and no fret wear on the nitro finished neck.
Professional setup and the fingerboard edges lightly rolled.
Fully copper shielded and grounded body cavities. Note that the J pickup is NOT connected, but does work fine. I only used the Precision pickup.
The bass will ship in a mint Fender Custom Shop tweed hardshell case, as pictured.

NO TRADE OFFERS… please!
PayPal preferred… If not paying by PayPal, I will only accept U.S. Postal Money Orders.
SOLD
I will only ship in the CONUS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Atkinson told me the original owner didn't care for the decal, but that he did build it. Perhaps he'll chime in?
