Great vintage Carvin four string - It's a late 72 or early 73. All original minus one tone pot and I did send the bridge pickup to Lindy Fralin to have rewound. Hofner made neck, 30" scale - thin and very fast. This bass has wonderful, unique tone, plays amazingly. Recent pro setup - straight neck - fully functional. Zero Fret, Maple Body, Original Hard Shell case - not pretty but fully functional. Single Coil pu's, 2 vol, 2 tone. 3 way toggle. Pickup cover has a mute as well. Bass has it's share of nicks, scuff and dents-it has been used. But in really good shape for a 38 year old bass. Frets are in great shape. Very rare find - I'll miss it - but I need the funds. Bosco Mann from Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings uses this same bass. Does have a set of DR Short Scale Sunbeams with about 10 hours of use on them.
