F/S F/T cherryburst ash/rosewood American deluxe precision

Sign in to disble this ad
As the title says, cherryburst over ash/roswood ADP. At sometime somebody installed a different pre in it that required a couple of small holes in the pickguard. When I got it the stock pre had been professionally reinstalled. Everything is cool. Looks and sounds great I've just got gas for a jazz. There is a scrape on the back of the headstock tha I'll photograph later. I'm thinking 850.00 pluss shipping to the lower 48. I'm thinking about trading this for a fiver. I'd mostly be interested in an ADP fiver or any musicmans. Hit me up with what you got.

Free bump! I use one of these without a backup in my 4-piece rock band every weekend at club gigs. Rock covers, AC/DC, Mellencamp and the like, sits perfect in the mix. P pickup sounds great, and the humbucker adds enough jazz-fusion bite without getting too sterile.

And, it plays like butter, especially after you've made a finger ramp for it...

Is there any extra routing under the pickguard from when the preamp was put in?

OK, I lifted up the pickguard and checked for any other routing. Nothing. It's looks bone stock, the finish is still in there and there's what looks to be factory coper shielding.
Let me know if there's any other questions.

As requested, a couple of pics of the booboo on the back of the headstock. Looks like it was scraped on a wall or something. This is the best my camera can do close up.

I am 99.9999999999999999999999% sure that is my old bass. Did you get it off of TB? If you got it off of who I think you got it off of, I can probably share some more info about it.

Either way, it looks killer and heres a free bump!

I believe it is your old bass. I've went through the TB threads and I think I can track it back to a guy even before you owned it. In any case it's in perfect shape other than the scrape at the top which is no big deal. Plays and sounds awesome, I've just come to realize that no matter how much I want to be a P guy, mostly because I love the look of them, I'm really a jazz guy for the sound.

Oh, and I'd love to hear what you know about the bass.

Eh, I feel like I'm pretty set now and I've got to many basses as it is but go ahead and run them by me.

You still have this? This market is horrible I figured this would have been long gone by now. How's my jazz treating you?
