CORT/ELRICK JOSH PAUL 5-STRING - MAPLE QUILT FINISH.

What can I say about the Cort/Elrick Josh Paul Signature 5? It has a lovely, sweet and clear sound. I enjoyed playing it very much. but I've moved back to 4-strings and I need the money to buy a Thunderbird!

$500 PLUS SHIPPING FROM ZIP 33626, INCLUDING HARD CASE

Specs:
· 35" scale, 19mm string spacing at the bridge
· 24-fret bolt-on neck
· Flame maple top
· Bartolini MK1 passive pickups
· Batrolini MK1 active preamp with bass/mid/treble boost and cut with a preamp bypass (passive)
· Fishman pop-up battery compartment
· High quality quick string change bridge

I WILL INCLUDE A HARD CASE WITH IT (It did not come with the guitar, but it's a serviceable case)

Here's what a couple of user reviews said:

"The best sound out of a sub-$1000 dollar bass, in my opinion. I play all kinds like jazz, funk, rock, metal, jam, latin, bossa, and slappy solo stuff. This bass is incredible. When I want to switch to slap, all I have to do is give it a little bid in the mids and a little in the bass. I use it with my SWR Workingman's 4004 and an Avatar 212 Bass cabinet and It sounds absolutely amazing. The wide string spacing gets some getting used to, but after that IT's unbelievable. It has a warm, Bright sound that is suitable for all types of music. I love the Bartolini MK-1s."

"Overall Rating : 10
I own 14 basses currently, and have gone through 17 others in my 23 years of playing. This bass is a superb example of mid-price Korean craftsmanship. This is my 2nd Cort bass (other is a Curbow 5) and I have not been let down in the slightest by either. For the money, Cort makes some sensational products. They compare very favorably against my higher-end basses (Warwick, Bogart) in all areas! The JPS5 is difficult to find, but well worth the effort! I visited 6 music shops and tried out numerous basses, all of which I didn't find as attractive as this one. I ended up buying the Cort sight unseen, and it was by far the best, especially in this price range. In the under $1000 category, this bass gets my full thumbs up. Others I had considered: Lakland 55-01, Brian Moore i5, Tobias Toby-Pro 5B"

Yes, I realize these pictures were used by someone else here - but I have the exact same model. Be glad to shoot my own pics if you would like. No problem. But his pictures were so good, I figured why take more?

No problems. No dings. Well cared for. NEW STRINGS.

Cheers.
