$899 shipped (paypal e. check or USPS money order). If I don't sell it by this Thursday (01-27-11) it will be traded.

This is one of those "fornicate, I spent too much moola on Christmas" sale.

I got this bass a few weeks ago and it's a great bass. When I got it it had an electronics problem and I had to switch the preamp, my tech installed an Aguilar OBP-1 (thanks eBay!) and it sound killer!

Alder body, Walnut top, Maple neck and Ebony board. Bartolini pickups and Aguilar preamp.

This bass sounds and feels great, I wanted to keep it but I need cash.. I'm asking $949 plus actual shipping. Will consider a partial trade for a MarkBass LM II.

I've played a Salas bass, very nice stuff. Can't find him anywhere anymore. Someone is sure to love this one.

The string spacing is 19 mm, it weights a little over 9 lbs (bathroom method)

This is a great bass, up there with other high end basses that cost x3 more.

Very elegant. Someone will get a good deal here. Reminds me of a Sonus.

Yep.
It came from Illinois. This bass is amazing in every way, but I have to sell some stuff to cover for my Christmas expenses.

Man, this bass is starting to grow on me. Are those jazz pups or soapbars? Also, what's the knob configuration?

Those are Bartolini Soapbars, the controls are vol/vol/treble/bass (Aguilar preamp). Sounds huge!

Oh, is it passive? I'm assuming no because there is a preamp, but I'm not to familiar with aggy stuff.
