For sale or trade is my '08 Fodera NYC deluxe 5 string 25th anniversary signed by Victor, Vinny, Mike, and many more artists. 34" scale, tight low B, Pope preamp, sonic blue finish, alder body, rosewood fingerboard, totally mint comes with second unsigned pickguard. As an owner of many basses I can truly say the electronics in this bass are the most hi-def I've ever encountered.
The only mods I did was install straplocks where the original buttons were. The case lock code has not been set, comes with original candy.
Looking for $2300.00 cash + shipping in the original Fodera box or the following trades: Any boutique 5 string LIGHTWEIGHT fretted or lined fretless bass in good condition. I am only trading/selling this cuz I have a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder and it weighs way more than any of my previous axes.
Elricks and Smiths preferred, will consider all trades except heavy basses. And yes, it has the push/pull passive. I may be new to talkbass but not to dealing and owning over 25 guitars over 20 years. |

I will get more pics up when I am freed up from the prison known as my regular career job. I will also weigh the bass on the old bathroom digital to let you all know the weight. For now a nice sunny Saturday bumpola. |

Don't be afraid to run all trades by me that are light weight 4, 5, or even 6 string basses, I have an endless supply of GAS.
Keep in mind by light weight I mean less than 9 pounds. My preference definetely goes out to 5 string fretless lined, but I would look at a lightweight 4 or six.
Fodera weight is more like 9.5 to 10 lbs.
Shoulder hurt pretty bad after playing the Fodera yesterday, and I'm no sissy, in fact I can bench press more than my own weight. Just a bad injury in a bad spot and although I'm ambidextrious, I can't play lefty. Some nice responses, email pics to mannyesdaddy@hotmail.com Thanks for your interest and stay out of treble.

For me, the lighter the bass the better, which is one more reason to love my chambered-body NYC Sadowskys! |

Looking at a couple of trades, all PM's responded to, still wondering if anyone has a lined lightweight fretless 5 string they wanna part with. Otherwise the lighter the fretted, the better. Will get back to those who have offered trades today. Thanks.

And if you want it straight from the mouth of babes, here's a link to the Deluxe NYC on the Fodera site: http://www.fodera.com/nyc/deluxe.html
The things to note on a deluxe are the angled peghead, Fodera bridge, 3 piece neck, all of which this bass of mine has.
Thanks again, and this baby is just about traded, so last minute offers need to be made now. Looking for 5 string lightweight basses, preferably fretless lined. But shoot 'em over if you want a shot at a lesser expensive soon to be collector Fodera.

Thanks to all of you who submitted offers on the Fodera, got some great ones, was really hard to make a final decision. As of today I have commited to a trade with a TB'er and I think it's gonna work out well for both of us.
Again, thanks for your patience and interest. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
