F/S or F/T Trans Red Alleva Coppolo LM5

Sign in to disble this ad
This is a brand new Alleva Coppolo LM5 (ash body, rosewood board, 70's pickup spacing).
It has blocks & binding and a custom inlay @ the 12th fret that says "BIGG REDD".
I've added a clear pickguard since the picture.
I've gone back & forth about selling this amazing axe.
I passed on a buyer last week because my wife had convinced me to keep it, but i just can't.
I am about to tour for a year or more & need to play a 4 string.
This is too special of an instrument to sit in my closet for that long AND because Jimmy is my friend, I can have a new one waiting when I get back.
The bass cost me $5000 because of the finish & the inlay.
I am willing to take $4000 or ONLY a rosewood board Coppolo 4 string in trade plus cash. (i am not interested in any other trades, thanks)
I am positive that Jimmy will honor the lifetime warranty that comes with his basses.
Thanks in advance,

Jason

I knew there was a reason I picked up a lottery ticket today.

Just wow, Jason. What an instrument! All the best with the sale.

Unsolicited opinion here... I'm lucky enough to have spent some brief time with Jason...a bit more if you include emails and text messages. I'm also gigging with a coupla' cabinets I purchased from him. Not only will the buyer of this bass have a smooth and problem-free transaction, he/she will get a bass that carries with it some serious mojo. Not only is Jason a stupid-good musician, he's also a wonderful human being. If you're at all considering this...do it!

I know this isn't specifically what you are looking for but would you consider a trade for this?

i jammed with Jason at the 10/3 gtg in GG and i can report to all that Big Red is a serious sounding bass, no jive. most impressive. Afterwards I just starred at the frework, truly amazing and the pictures dont really show how red Big Red is.

I also hear that bass caused several new orders.

Good luck bro
