F/S feeler Fender Classic 50's Precision

For your consideration; my 50's Classic P. This bass sounds great, looks great and I think, plays amazingly.

This is the best sounding P pickup I've ever had, and I've had a lot.

I kinda hate to sell it, but I'm not playing it at all lately. I've changed bands, and am using rounds again, and active, for a much more modern sound.

And, I'm finding it tough to switch back and forth from P to J width necks. I have the neck on this listed for trade in accessories, but now I'm thinking about selling the whole bass to put towards something different.

This is the lightest bass out of 5 that I currently own. I don't have a scale, but I'd be very surprised if it isn't a bit under 9 lbs.

It's in very good played condition. There is a scratched area just behind the pickup, that it appears a previous owner touched up with a sharpie (will include a pic of it). Some light swirling on the front, but not bad at all. Nothing else to report.

It has super light chromes (.95 E). Overall looks plays and sounds great!

Asking $490.00 plus exact actual shipping. Prefer Paypal and conus.

Other than the three "touched up" marks in the middle of the photo, everything else is reflections or dust.

Mostly want to sell ,but I'll always look at trades. Mostly be interested in two pickup active, with a narrow to moderate nut. Also not gonna add any cash on this.

Thanks
Steve

It's a ramp,eh?!

I've played over the p/u for 30some years, so when I use covers I use double sided tape to attach a 3 3/4x 3/4 piece of lexon. I remove the screw because it makes for a wobbly ramp.

I will happily remove it, and include a shiny new fender pickguard screw for no extra charge

Thanks!
Steve
