- Weight: 8.0 - 8.5 pds. I put it on bathroom scale, and it showed it being a touch over 8 pounds; I am not sure how precise this is, so I included a range of 1/2 a pound.
- Comes with original tags and other case candy, OHSC, extra set of strings.
This bass has only had light home use, and is extremely low mileage. Kept on second floor of non-smoking home. If I had to compare this bass to a used car, it would be a car with say 15 - 20,000 miles, driven by an old lady to church and some local stores every now and then, and garaged during the winter (and the old lady always remembered to get her oil changed, fluids checked, etc.) That is this bass in a nutshell, not an everyday used bass for sure.
It plays extremely well, great alternating punchy and warm tones, and has been well maintained. Recent setup and electronics inspected/cleaned. Almost new medium gauge strings, this bass is ready to take out and be played. Hard to find a used bass this nice, but I am letting this one go because upright bass is where Im spending my time and money. Cosmetically, bass in great shape; there is one small chip on top of the headstock, and a few minor scratches; most prominent are those on the back below where the strings come through the body. Also one tiny scratch on front of body near lower strap post.
