F/S- Fender Deluxe Precision 5

Sign in to disble this ad
Up for sale is a bass I thought I would keep forever. These are hard times, thus forces this sale. Hopefully, someone will give it a good home.
Here it is - - - Fender Deluxe P-Bass fiver in transparent Teal, sporting a beautiful grain underneath. Maple board with pearl block inlays. Kinda rare, I understand. Features an 18V system, Dunlop strap locks, white pearliod pickguard, string-thru body of course and the best part; There are absolutley NO issues with this guy. Plays and sounds wonderfully, and comes with a nice HSC.

Here's your chance to own a great, beautiful example of BASS. These are getting harder to find, and I'm sure I'll learn how to kick myself in the near future. More pic available upon request.

Asking $1250.00 OBO, plus $35.00 shipping CONUS.

Cannot entertain any trade offers, must sell outright.

Basscandle, I sure hope that whatever you are going through gets better soon because it must be pretty tough for you to be selling such a rare beauty! I have never seen an ADPV with blocks before, and it is a something else!

OK, string spacing....At the nut, between the G and D strings, comes in at 9.3mm. At the bridge, same strings read 17.3 mm, but the saddles have grooves for adjustment of the spacing width.

Readings taken with digital calipers.......

Had a couple of people ask if this is an American made bass. YES, 100% and the electronics and hardware and everything else are all original.

A TB'er wrote me yesterday and has done a pretty good job of trying to persuade me to hold on to this........

I didn't think they made these with block inlays on the neck? Did you buy this new?

I didn't buy it new but I bought it from the guy who did. Read the link about halfway down, it talks about the luxury models....

This is so rare, most don't even know about it.

They're not decals....I've been playing and collecting guitars for 38 years.....I know what a decal inlay looks like.
