F/S FENDER JAZZ DELUXE 24 Quilt Maple Top! Hipshot Drop D tuner!

Okie Dokie....making room for new stuff that is coming in.

Here I have a Fender Jazz Deluxe 24 fret MIK from 2005. These basses fly waaaay under the radar. It's so rare to get more than what you pay for these days...these basses give so much more bang for the buck than what the market commands. Don't let the fact that this is a Korean made Fender fool you. They are top notch construction wise. I have owned American Jazz Deluxes and this one is every bit as good as those. You will be pleasantly surprised! Bass weighs a respectable 9 lbs. 8 oz. BassLine Quarter Pounders...this bass Kills! NOW COME WITH A FENDER HARDSHELL TSA CASE!

Here are some specs.

Color: Cherry Sunburst
Body: Alder with Quilt Maple Top
Neck: Maple, Modern C Shape, Satin Polyurethane Finish
Fingerboard: Rosewood, 9.5" Radius/241 mm
Frets: 24 Medium Jumbo
Pick ups: 2 Seymour Duncan® Basslines™ Single-Coil Jazz Bass Pickups
Controls: Master Volume, Pan Pot, Duncan Designed BEQ3 3-Band Active EQ with:
Treble Boost/Cut: /- 15dB @ 5.1kHz,
Mid Boost/Cut: /- 14dB, -15dB @ 650Hz,
Bass Boost/Cut: /- 12dB @ 30 Hz,
Mid-Scoop "Slap" Switch:
Bass Boost 5dB @ 83Hz,
Mid Cut -5dB @ 633Hz
Pick up switching: Pan Pot
Bridge: 4-Saddle Steel Bridge Plate
Tuners: Hipshot® Licensed Tapered Shaft Tuning Machines
Hardware: Chrome Plated
Pickguard: None fitted
Scale length: 34", 864mm
Width at nut: 1.5", 38mm
Features: Quilt Maple Top, 9 Volt Power Supply,
6-Bolt Neck Plate, Satin finished neck, White Pearloid Dot Position Inlays, Rolled Fingerboard Edges

The slap switch is cool...it really brings out the lows on the bass and is really a great functional item. The bass sounds like a Jazz bass on steroids...yet it still retains it's "Fender-esque" quality. It sits well in any mix with a band.

Comes with a Hipshot Drop D tuner installed...original tuner included. I am going over the body as I write this and it is CLEAN...some small time swirling but no scratches, dings, or dents that I can see.

Asking 550.00 shipped ....there is great value here folks! NOW COMES WITH A FENDER HARDSHELL TSA CASE! Original tuner also included

Thanks to the TB'er who pointed this out to me...although the bass does have your typical pearloid dots in the fingerboard, the blocks that are pictures are actually vinyl overlays...easily removed if you like.

They are so good, I literally forgot they were on there! I get compliments all the time..a lot of people ask "wow I didn't realize they came with a blocked neck..."

Where did you get the vinyl overlays for it? Been thinking about adding block inlays to my Jazz bass myself but this'll be much easier and removable.

I had one of these, it was great! If I had done the inlay treatment I would probably still have it today .
