I bought this here a while back feeling I needed a 4 string for my country rock band. I found now after playing a 5 string for 2 years,this ultra thin neck feels uncomfortable. So back up for sale it goes. This baby is in superb condition for it's age. Has some nice mojo wear on the maple fingerboard,that does not at all affect playability. The body is jet black,and real clean with a few minor wear spots and a small chip by the neck plate. I was amazed when I received it,and found it to be so nice. Electronics are active,and the pickups have been upgraded to Duncan Bass Lines. All the hardware is gold plated and is in good condition. And yes it has the "E" serial #. Currently strung with unknown roundwounds. The neck has a maple board,plus the action is low and smooth. Weighs 7.5 lbs on my digital scale. Played it last night at practice to verify everything works as it should. Nice bass for all you Jazz lovers! Will come packed in a padded gig bag. $400.00 shipped Conus.
