For sale Fender Roscoe Beck V - 5 string bass in shoreline gold. This bass has some cosmetic damage on the headstock. There is a small paint chip on the front bottom of matching headstock near the B string tuner. Also, 2 small gouges on the bottom rear edge of the headstock near the top by the D string tuner. Otherwise this bass is in excellent condition. I installed a Bass Mute. Its a removable device which provides limited string muting, mimicking the foam rubber strip in the bridge cover which used to be standard on vintage Fender basses. Its operated with a small mechanical lever. There are 3 postitions; off (no muting), up (medium muting) and forward (maximum muting). The mute for each string can be adjusted separately for more or less effect.
The bass comes with a vintage Fender plush HSC, case candy (no strap locks) included. The middle, non-locking latch, is broken. I'm asking $1300 and willing take $50 off if you don't want the BassMute - but there will be 2 very small screw holes near the bridge. I would prefer a local cash sale, no trades, but will ship CONUS only if buyer pays shipping.
