Well its either my 1979 MIA Fender P or this, I don't have a need for P basses anymore and since my Fender P bass was given to me by Timmy C... I have to let this G&L go
Anyone thats familar with the old SB-1's knows that this bass is a sledge hammer, hot pick ups combined with overall great build quality makes this bass sound better then most MIA Fender's! This one is a bit on the light side as well..
I would like to say that this bass is in "pristine condition" however, it is 20+ years old and does have some very small nick's on the top back of the body and at the bottom of the body, but absolutely nothing major! The neck looks "almost new" with no wear on the front or back, there are some typical very small little dings on the top corner edge but thats it... a bit of rust on the bridge springs and some screws as well, I would have changed them out, but why?... adds to the mojo I suppose.
Asking $650 shipped conus in a hardshell case (not OE case).
