F/S Geddy Lee Jazz Bass

Sign in to disble this ad
This one is just sitting around. Black Geddy Lee Jazz bass. I think its an 04 or so. It was bought in 06 and then sat around til I got it and I'd rather have the cash at this point.

Wired with a series/parallel mod through the tone pot. Lots of tones in this. Some minor dings on the back but nothing through the finish. Comes with HSC.

Pictures soon.

No trades.

$700+shipping

$700 shipped in the CONUS

No scale sorry. It weighs about the same as my MIM 70s Classic Jazz (which weighed 8.7 when I bought it) if just a little heavier. I'm guessing a little over 9lbs.

I left it at my friend's house to take some pictures for me (don't have a camera) and I'm waiting on him.

Ever have to adjust the truss rod? I heard it's hard to get to.

I think for real 70s Jazz basses you'd have to remove the neck to adjust the truss, but if you look at the pics above you'll see that the truss on the Geddy is accessible at the headstock.

I believe that is just painted on, and that the truss rod is at the bottom of the neck, buried under the pickguard, which needs to be removed before you can adjust it. At least that's what reviewers have said in the Reviews section here on TB. Also, there is some question about what is the proper tool to use, once you get at it. Is that no longer the case with newer ones ?

Never ad to adjust the truss rod since I've had it. I'm almost positive that the bass has a heel adjust. I'm pretty sure its just a walnut plug at the top of the headstock.

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. Sorry about the misinformation.

No idea honestly but its shipping from zip code 10310 and will most likely go out via fedex.
