I got this bass in a trade a few months ago, and while I love the bass, it's a little heavy for me (10-12lbs). It's a J.R. Beck 6 string model, and it's a great sounding bass! It has an MM-style bridge pup, and a jazz neck pup. It has a pretty distinct sound with either pickup soloed or both on. It's a brand new bass, no dings or scratches anywhere. I played it maybe once at church, and a handful of times at home during practice. It has a solid bubinga body (which is why I think it's so heavy), and satin chrome hardware. Preamp config is Volume, Blend, Bass, Treble.
