Ok, dont really want to sell this one but after gig'in lately with 5 stings (which is why I'm selling both my 6 stringers)  and I feel like this one may just sit around for awhile as well.
This bass is absolutely beautiful, the neck is done by hand in the Japan factory and feels like silk! The sound is amazing, kind of a dark woody tone, in fact the whole bass has a woody Warwick vibe about it. These basses are known for being neck heavy so I recently installed some new black Hipshot ultra-lite tuners($150) and repositioned the back strap button up about an inch. Helped tremendously!
Mahogany body, 5pc wenge/bubinga prestige neck, Bartolini custom made for Ibanez pick-ups and electronics with 3 band eq and vari-mid control, 34" scale, 16.5mm string spacing, and mono-rail bridge. This bass has a semi repaired ding on the top/side of the body.
This is one of the nicest basses Ive ever owned, but I dont have enough shows to play all my basses and hate to see something this good just sit in the closet.

Thanks Perfeckspace for the plug!  These really are nice basses, I will always pick up a bass for sale in the $2000 to $3000 range and think that this bass is right there with them, if not better in many cases. and check out the pics under SR3006e. And putting on the lite tuners fixed the only problem these basses have, which is being neck heavy. |
