So, I bought this bass because of the feel and tone alone, and thought that I needed a back up to my US Scheter Jazz, but it just sits and should be played... Was built by a local Luthier and was put together really really well!
The neck serial number is #N8332676 and is straight as an arrow with low action and no buzz, the frets look new. Also, the back of the neck was sanded and finished in satin. Its "silky" smooth and very fast, one of the easiest Jazz basses I've every played! The neck joint has no gaps and is super tight.
The electronics are EMG’s and they were installed professionally, the bridge is a Gotoh 203 which looks new. It has the standard 1998 US tuners.
Once again, the body is an alder wood MIM, but there is no way to tell when playing it or how it effects the sound or looks, in fact IMHO this bass feels as solid and sounds better then most other US Jazz basses that I've played.
Condition wise, this bass has some standard little nicks on the top edges of the headstock and a light small scratch on the back of the body and one in front of the bridge, but overall looks great and is in 9 out 10 shape! Comes with 2 extra pick guards, I believe the pearl white is the original. Includes a TKL hard shell case thats in good shape.
