F/S MIJ Yamaha BB1600/Yellowed out Ivory color

This sale is to fund my new 5 string bass needs. Also because I just bought a BB2000 to scratch that Yamaha itch.
I love these basses. Especially the neck. It has to be one of the most comfortable 4 string necks ever. It's not as narrow as a J bass but not as bulky as a P bass.

This was Ivory when it was new but now it's got that yellowed aged cool look about it. Extra mojo!! It's actually more yellow than the pics are indicating.
The pickups are back to stock. The owner before me had routed for a J bass pickup in the bridge but kept that pickup and gave me the originals to put back on the bass.

It's Volume, Volume, Tone. Sounds and plays great.

no case but will double box. PRICE DROP $300 and I'll split shipping cost conus.

Another underrated and under-appreciated top quality bass like Peavey.
Weight / nut width / thickness of neck at 7th fret?
Thx.

Condition is Good. Frets and neck are very good. Some oxidation on hardware as you can see. Nut is brand new. Strings are 2 days old. 45-105 La Bella rounds.
Nut width is 1 9/16 just over 1.5 but not 1 5/8"
weight is probably 8.5- 9 i'm guessing. I don't have a scale but it's lighter than my 3 other 80's BB basses.
You can also see a little of the rabbit ears of where the previous owner had a J in it.
Still well worth the money and now getting the deserved interest.

The combination of light weight Alder and the perfect neck not to mention the unique flavor of 80's Yamaha pickups... makes this bass an absolute winner...........can't go wrong dealing with Halegroove!!!!!

Thanks bassguyky. I'm shocked it's still here too. I won't be heartbroke if I end up keeping it.

It's kinda like when you drop a steak on your kitchen floor and before you can get it, your dog runs over and grabs it........He knows what's gonna happen but it's worth any kind of punishment you can give him
